A webinar dedicated to the anti-doping programme at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be held next week.
The International Testing Agency (ITA) will run the webinar, called “Paris 2024 Anti-Doping Program”, on May 30.
Athletes and support personnel that are poised to go to the Olympics in the French capital are being encouraged to attend the online meeting.
The Paris 2024 anti-doping rules, doping control, therapeutic use exemptions and the results management in the case of a positive test will all be covered during the webinar.
Dominique Leroux-Lacroix, ITA Head of Legal Affairs, and Matteo Vallini, ITA Head of International Federations and Major Events, will be on hand to cover the topics and answer any questions.
The goal is to empower the athletes and their team to understand the rules and responsibilities so they can focus on performing to their best in Paris.
The ITA will leave time at the end of the session for live questions.
The session will be moderated by Nikki Hamblin, a New Zealand middle-distance runner who won two silver medals at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games and is now in the ITA Education Team.
It will be delivered in English with simultaneous translation to four additional languages - Arabic (العربية), Spanish (español), French (français) and Russian (русский).
