Advice and tips will be given on how nutrition and lifestyle choices can contribute to an athlete’s success during a webinar held this month.
The International Testing Agency (ITA) will run an online webinar, called “Nutrition and Clean Sport”, on April 25.
Maximising a food-first approach to nutrition and considering lifestyle factors before using supplements can be a factor in reducing the risk of an inadvertent Anti-Doping Rule Violation.
ITA Education Ambassador Janice Lyn will underline this when she gives practical advice and tips from her experience on how to make the most out of nutrition and lifestyle to support performance.
Lyn, a muaythai world champion who is now a holistic nutrition expert, will be available to answer questions live.
The session will be moderated by Nikki Hamblin, a New Zealand middle-distance runner who won two silver medals at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games and is now in the ITA Education Team.
It will be delivered in English with simultaneous translation to four additional languages - Arabic (العربية), Spanish (español), French (français) and Russian (русский).
