2019 ICF JUNIOR & U23 CANOE SLALOM WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

The ICF U23 and Junior Canoe Slalom World Championships returns to Krakow, Poland, just three years after the city successfully hosted the same event in 2016. The Polish Canoe Federation stepped in after problems emerged with the original host, underlining its support for the next generation of international canoe slalom athletes.

Krakow is a regular on the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup circuit, and hosted an event in 2018. It has also hosted the European Championships twice, in 2013 and 2008. With its grass banks, the Krakow-Kolna Canoe Slalom Course always draws a big crowd, and the attraction of the best young paddlers in the world will be an extra incentive for spectators in 2019.
