When and where did you begin this sport?
She was introduced to paddling at a young age, although she initially preferred swimming. At age 13 she began to get bored of swimming and focused more on whitewater canoeing.
Why this sport?
"I fell in love with the excitement and chaos of whitewater. Once I won my first race, the competitive side of me took over and I knew this was the sport for me."
