        BIOGRAPHY
          At Rio 2016, he was the first Italian to compete in the C1 200, finishing 15th. He was seventh in the C1 1000. Eight years later, Tacchini won his first Olympic medal along with Gabriele Casadei in the C2 500. 
Tacchini, who is a police officer, is a two-time world medallist and a European Games champion in the C2 500.
