Session information

Sonni will talk about how to paddle in upwind or downwind conditions.

About
I was born on Sylt, Germany. My dad was a professional windsurfer, we traveled around the world, spending a lot of time on Maui. When I was 5 years old, we moved to the Canary Islands. That’s were I learned how to surf, windsurf and later on Stand Up Paddle. When I’m not in the water I’m painting, so far I had my 3rd art exhibition and I’m grateful to have another way of expressing myself besides the sport. Art is like writing a diary of all my experiences, traveling to different places,… my biggest inspiration is the Ocean. With Starboard I don’t only have the fastest boards underneath my feet, I also have the chance to combine my two biggest passions – my sport and my art, the Tikhines.
