Impairment Details
In May 2006 he was rushing to get on a train when he slipped and his right foot fell under the wheels. He lost his right leg and sustained injuries to his left leg, head, lung, liver and spine. Awards
In 2016 he received a sporting achievement award from the Romanian Canoe Kayak Federation in recognition of his performance at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. (agerpres.ro, 16 Dec 2016)
