Sunshine will once again greet competitors for day four of the International Canoe Federation Slalom World Championships, but due to forecasted wind conditions, all finals are being held earlier in the day in Sydney, Australia.
Paddle Australia, following the assessment of conditions, is rescheduling today's competition as follows:
- Semi-finals of men’s and women’s canoe - to be held as per programme from 10:30 - 12:40 (local time).
- Finals of men’s and women’s canoe - will be changed and held from 13:00 - 14:00 (local time).

The safety of the competitors and public remains the priority for organisers. In accordance with our contingency plans and safety and emergency framework, event organisers have assessed the conditions and determined that the event will continue under a revised timetable.
Paddle Australia has contingency plans in place to ensure that the event is held in the safest possible environment for its competitors.
Event organisers are closely monitoring the conditions and are committed to providing the most accurate information to competitors, officials and spectators as soon as it is available.
