More than 800 athletes from nearly 70 nations will come together for the 2025 International Canoe Federation Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships from August 20 to 24 in Milan, Italy.
Olympic and Paralympic champions will be among the stellar field as the road to Los Angeles 2028 begins after the success of Paris 2024.
Television cameras are poised to capture the action as paddlers look set to battle it out for 36 world titles including 24 in Canoe Sprint and 12 in Paracanoe.
The ICF is working with host broadcaster RAI along with a growing collection of TV partners to ensure the World Championships is aired worldwide.
TV stations in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Czechia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia and United States will broadcast the competition.
In addition, the ICF’s world feed broadcast will be streamed around the globe on the Planet Canoe YouTube channel, available to signed-up members.
Multiple Paralympic champion Emma Wiggs of Great Britain and Canoe Sprint world medallists Jennifer Egan-Simmons of Ireland and Alyce Wood of Australia will be behind the mic to bring the action to life.
The top trio will join ICF Lead Commentator Ross Solly to provide uninterrupted live coverage of every race at the World Championships.
