Hosts Philippines finished first in the medals table with 11 gold medals as the 2024 International Canoe Federation Dragon Boat World Championships concluded.
Thailand finished second with eight titles and AIN third with six. Ukraine won five gold medals and Canada with four rounded off the top five.
On the final day of action at the Puerto Princesa Baywalk, Myanmar won the gold medal in the 10-seater mixed 500m, the last race in which teams can win points to qualify for the Chengdu 2025 World Games.
The tight race was unpredictable until the end. Myanmar crossed the line first with a timing of 2:05.33, with the Hungarians breathing down their necks, clocking 2:05.71.
Indonesia, sensational in the 10-seater mixed 200m on the penultimate day, settled for bronze in 2:05.87.
Thailand and Indonesia had already qualified for The World Games at the ICF Dragon Boat World Cup in Yichang last month. Joining them are Hungary, Malaysia, Spain, Ukraine, Chinese Taipei, Czechia, Cambodia, the Philippines and AIN, with one quota reserved for hosts China.
Sunday's races saw Thailand reign supreme in the 10-seater open 500m and the 10-seater women's 500m.
In the latter, they put on a show against silver medallists Iran and bronze medallists AIN, finishing almost five seconds ahead in 2:14.62.
The hosts bagged two titles in the masters over 40 20-seater mixed 500m and the masters over 40 20-seater women's 2000m, with the former being a heated battle.
Ultimately, the Philippines won the gold medal in 2:06.34, beating silver medallists Singapore who clocked 2:06.73. Bronze went to Germany in Germany.
The 20-seater women's 2000m saw AIN dominate from start to finish, winning the title in 9:23.16, more than eleven seconds ahead of the Philippines in silver and Iran, who bagged bronze.
Ukraine came out on top in the 20-seater mixed 500m, beating the hosts Philippines and AIN in 1:57.51, adding their fifth gold medal of the World Championships.
Hong Kong saved their best for the final day, taking the masters over 40 10-seater mixed 500m in 2:13.19, beating Czechia and the Philippines.
Czechia finished eighth in the overall table thanks to a double win on Sunday. They first mastered the 20-seater open 2000m, winning by 12 seconds.
With a timing of 8:42.74, the Europeans beat silver medallists Philippines in 8:54.49 and bronze medallists India in 9:06.70.
The second gold for Czechia came in the 20-seater mixed 2000m, where they posted another impressive time of 8:39.23, more than four seconds faster than the rest of the teams.
USA claimed the masters over 40 10-seater women's 500m. At the same time, Hungary finished first in the masters over 40 20-seater open 2000m and masters over 40 20-seater mixed 2000m.
