Denmark’s Christian Andersen and South Africa’s Chiara Vorster captured two senior titles at the Baltic Skrea Beach Paddle Race in Falkenberg, Sweden.
Andersen and Vorster came out on top in the respective men’s and women’s races in the technical category before delivering success again over the long distance a day later.
The Baltic Skrea Beach Paddle Race is the third stop in this year’s International Canoe Federation Stand Up Paddling World Ranking Series, with points awarded in the technical and long distance categories in Falkenberg.
Andersen proved too strong in the men’s technical race, overcoming home favourite Linus Karlsson who claimed silver.
Noa Stender Mikkelsen joined fellow countryman Andersen on the podium when he ranked third.

Vorster emerged victorious in the women’s technical race, getting the better of Denmark’s Katrine Bergmann and Sweden’s Michelle Kimbler who came second and third respectively.
Vorster topped the podium again in the women’s long distance race to cap a great weekend for the South African.
Kimbler secured another medal, taking silver, while Denmark’s Maria Ostergaard Holm picked up bronze.
Andersen also completed a golden double as he captured the men’s long distance title.
Belgium’s Kjell de Bruyn was second, with Great Britain’s Hector Jessel, who was fourth in the men’s technical race, getting the better of Karlsson for bronze.
The next ICF World Ranking Event will be held in Agios Nikolaos Crete, Greece when it stages the ICF World Cup from September 27 to 29.
Registration is open for all the events giving paddlers the chance to excel on the global stage.
