Originally Ireland Kilkenny but currently based right here in Nottingham and i not planning on leaving anytime soon.
REASON FOR TAKING UP THE SPORT
I grew up in a paddling family, both our parents would have paddled for Ireland before we were born. So I have kayaked for as long as I can remember. David introduced me to freestyle kayaking two years ago and i fell in love with the group of girls I met through southeast freestyle! Although why I took Squirt boating was just to try it initially. I had a squirt boat so I reckoned I should probably try out for the team and Tamsyn invited me along to a squirt boating pool session. from there I knew I had a few tricks so I was convinced into trying out for the Irish team. I'm always willing to try something new! I had quit my job shortly before so I had some time to take up a new sport I didn't realize I would enjoy it as much as I do.

MEMORABLE SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT
"My biggest achievement has to be convincing the GB squirt boating team to adopt me into their training sessions and coach me. I hope they don't regret it! But I have to say the biggest thanks to David Rogers, Tamsyn McConchie, Jamie Austen, and Ottilie Robinson-Shaw! without the lot of them, there is no way I would be doing half of what I'm capable of doing today. They lent me gear, sold me gear, gave me tips, showed me how to do everything, and encouraged me. At the end of it all, they became great friends.
