A dramatic three days of racing in Augsburg, Germany, ended with champions crowned in the International Canoe Federation Canoe Slalom World Cup Series.

After World Cups in La Seu, Pau, Prague and Tacen, overall titles were decided in the German city where double points were awarded.

Here is a list of the champions of 2025.

Men’s Kayak
Titouan Castryck (FRA)
What a fantastic season it’s been for Castryck. The Frenchman has been superb, winning in La Seu, Prague and Tacen, and deservedly secured the overall title thanks to his bronze in Augsburg. His teammate Anatole Delassus put up a huge fight to hang on to his crown. After three silver medals this season, Delassus delivered gold for the first time but it was not enough to knock Castryck off his perch. Poland’s Mateusz Polaczyk was also rewarded for his consistent season with a third-placed finish in the series standings.

Women’s Kayak
Kimberley Woods (GBR)
Just a couple of weeks ago, Woods had never won a women’s kayak race in her career. Fast forward a fortnight and Woods not only has two victories to her name but the overall title in the bag too. Woods produced stunning performances in Tacen and Augsburg to seal top spot. Her triumph at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup Final saw her climb from sixth to first as Germany’s Ricarda Funk, who had led the standings, agonisingly missed out on a place in the final. Funk dropped out of the top three and was replaced by Great Britain’s Lois Leaver and Evy Leibfarth of the United States.

Men’s Canoe
Nicolas Gestin (FRA)
Three World Cup wins on the trot saw Gestin capture the overall crown. Gestin showcased all the qualities that saw him win Olympic gold in Paris last year to string together a hat-trick of golden performances, with his best coming in Augsburg. Gestin overtook his French colleague Yohann Senechault who cost himself a place in the final with a two-second penalty. Hopes of a French one-two-three were ended when Spain’s Miquel Trave got the better of Mewen Debliquy to take third spot.

Women’s Canoe
Kimberley Woods (GBR)
The past two weeks will live long in the memory for Woods as she hit top form just at the right time. Woods backed up her victory in the kayak with a stunning win in the canoe 24 hours later. The British paddler saved her best performance in the C1 until last as she snatched the overall crown. Spain’s Miren Lazkano was leading the standings heading into Augsburg but finished in 21st place in the semi-final as Slovakia’s Zuzana Pankova and Italy’s Marta Bertoncelli climbed into the top three.

Men’s Kayak Cross Individual
Sam Leaver (GBR)
Whatever the course, Great Britain’s Leaver has consistently posted quick times. He registered the second fastest time in Pau and Augsburg and ranked third in Tacen to claim the overall crown. Czechia’s Jakub Krejci was in pole position after a gold and two silver medals but a fault in Augsburg cost him the title as he dropped to eighth. France’s Mathurin Madore’s victory in Augsburg saw him moved up to second, while Switzerland’s Jan Rohrer sealed third spot.

Women’s Kayak Cross Individual
Camille Prigent (FRA)
With two silvers and two golds, France’s Prigent has been flying in this category which has become a medal event for the first time this season. Prigent was not at her best in Augsburg, finishing in 11th place but her past outstanding performances were enough to all but guarantee her the title. Germany’s Ricarda Funk rose to second after producing the second quickest time on her home course, while Evy Leibfarth of the United Stages managed to hold off Augsburg winner Lois Leaver of Great Britain to take third spot.

Men’s Kayak Cross
Jonny Dickson (GBR)
Starting the World Cup Final outside the top three, Dickson finished the weekend at the summit after sealing silver in Augsburg. It capped a great day for Great Britain as Sam Leaver claimed his first-ever World Cup title in kayak cross. It was not enough for Leaver to squeeze into the overall medal spots as they were taken by Switzerland’s Jan Rohrer and France’s Mathurin Madore. Rohrer was in first place but his failure to make the final cost him the crown as he dropped to second, missing out on the title by a mere two points. There were just 11 points separating the top four as Madore edged out Leaver into third place.

Women’s Kayak Cross
Ricarda Funk (GER)
After the disappointment of letting the women’s kayak crown slip from her grasp, Funk responded in fantastic fashion. With the home crowd behind her, Funk roared down the course in Augsburg to take the kayak cross title and, in doing so, captured the overall crown. Great Britain filled the other two spots on the podium with Kimberley Woods taking second after making the final and Lois Leaver securing third after clinching bronze in Augsburg.
