Sarasota, Florida will stage the International Canoe Federation Stand Up Paddling World Championships – an event that is not to be missed.
The SUP World Championships, the final major event of the 2024 ICF calendar, promises to deliver a thrilling programme of races from November 20 to 24 at the Nathan Benderson Park.
Among those is the 100m sprint which will make its debut at the World Championships after replacing the regular 200m races.
Competition will begin on November 20 with the preliminary rounds, heats and quarter-finals of the sprint category taking place before the Opening Ceremony that evening.
Technical preliminary rounds, heats and quarter-finals will be on the agenda on November 21.
The first medals will be awarded on November 22 with the sprint semi-finals and finals.
On November 23, technical semi-finals and finals will all be held in what is set to be an absorbing penultimate day of racing.
The event will draw to a close on November 24 with the finals in long distance and inflatable as well as kids races and the Closing Ceremony in the evening.
