Women
Ricarda Funk (GER - gold)
The winter was quite hard. The Olympic season was mentally quite a challenge. I kept working, and I'm glad this hard work pays off. I had such a fun run today.
Eva Pietracha (FRA - silver)
I am so happy and like this place very much with my family, friends and team supporting me. I am very proud because I have had a lot of runs, but to finally have a medal is a great feeling. I think I had fun today and that’s what made the difference.
Lois Leaver (GBR - bronze)
I think my final run felt a bit off at the top compared to my heats but maybe from gate six onwards, I felt like I got into the flow. With a touch at the top, I felt like I should be fighting to make up for it but when I got to the bottom, I felt like I got into the full run, and then crossing the line and seeing the result was special.
Men
Noah Hegge (GER - gold)
On the first run, I was happy and was looking forward to the final, hoping I could start like I did in the qualification. So yeah, I am feeling good and happy about the run. I am very thankful to my team, trainers and staff. They pushed me every day, and I am happy with my first senior medal in slalom.
Anatole Delassus (FRA - silver)
I feel happy. I think it is a great way to start the season with back-to-back World Cup medals. I think I have got to continue to be focused because it’s the only way to defend my (World Cup Series) title.
Lucien Delfour (AUS - bronze)
I am pretty happy again. I did not expect a medal. It was a tricky week of training. I struggled a bit. I was not happy, but I am glad that it worked out in the end.
