The International Canoe Federation, together with the Iran Canoe, Rowing and Sailing Federation and the Asian Canoeing Association, will team together to present a series of online webinars focusing on coaching.
A total of 25 coaches from Iran and ten coaches from neighbouring countries, including Kazakhstan, Iraq and Turkey, will take part in the three online courses. The sessions are designed to provide coaches with an opportunity to increase their canoe coaching skills.
The webinars will begin this Saturday with a three-day course focusing on canoe slalom. The course will be run by world renowned Australian coach, Mike Druce.
A three-day course for canoe sprint coaches will run from next Tuesday, December 15, and will be run by experienced ICF coach Zakarias Mahmoudi.
A one-day course on paracanoe coaching will be held on Friday, December 18, under the guidance of the ICF head of paracanoe classification, Maria de Fatima Fernandes.
