First day of competition of the Championship of France Elite Canoe Sprint race on the basin of Vaires on Marne. 

On the program of day one were the Kayak Man and Canoe Men on the 1000 m and the women's kayak and canoe on the 500 m. 

After a morning of qualifying, the athletes clashed this afternoon in final races one. The races of final two will take place Wednesday morning from 9:30. 

In the men's kayaks, Maxime BEAUMONT of Bollène won in 3 min 37 sec ahead of Etienne HUBERT (CK of the Sedan country) and Aurélien LE GALL (CKCIR St Grégoire). 

For the Men's Canoes, Adrien BART (ASL St Laurent Blangy) takes the ascendancy over his opponents by finishing in 4 min 02 sec. Mathieu GOUBEL (Boulogne Canoë Kayak) and Romain BEUGNET (ASL St Laurent Blangy) complete the top three. 

On the side of the women's kayaks, Touraine Sarah GUYOT, took the race lead with a time of 1:59:76. Sarah TROEL (CKCIR St Grégoire) and Manon HOSTENS (ALP GNP Périgueux) finished second and third respectively. 

As for the Women's Canoes, it was the young Eugénie DORANGE of the Olympic CK Auxerre who won in 2 min and 25 sec, followed closely by Anaïs CATTELET and Julie CAILLERETZ, both at club ASL St Laurent Blangy. 

The titles of Champion (s) of France Elite will be awarded tomorrow following the final classification resulting from the addition of the points obtained in the two finals.
