A record number of nations will participate in the International Canoe Federation Wildwater Canoeing World Cup 3 and 4 in Bratislava, Slovakia.
A total of 110 paddlers from 27 countries are poised to compete in kayak and canoe single and double races on Saturday and Sunday.
Sprint events will be staged in women’s K1, women’s C1, women’s C2, men’s K1, men’s C1 and men’s C2.

Bratislava’s Cunovo Water Sports Center will be the stage for the World Cup over the next two days.
The event is taking place just one week after Dunaremete, Hungary staged the World Cup 1 and 2.
Who is competing in Bratislava?
It is a star-studded field including many world champions. Among those is Italy’s Cecilia Panato who clinched five gold medals at last month’s World Championships in Banja Luka before bagging two titles at the World Cup in Dunaremete last weekend.
Other reigning world champions in action include Slovenia’s Anze Urankar and Czechia’s Matej Vanek and Anna Retkova.
Sunday will also see two-time Olympic medallist Matej Benus represent Slovakia in Wildwater Canoeing just a day after competing at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Augsburg.
All five continents will be represented with paddlers competing for the likes of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, India, Kenya, Mongolia, Senegal and South Africa along with several European nations.
