Due to the extremely low water levels in the river Lech special measures have to be taken to facilitate the progress of the training and competition. Training has been cancelled and the course is closed on Tuesday, 19 July 2022 and on Wednesday, 20 July 2022. During this period work is underway to put obstacles in the training and warm up channel. The target is to block and direct the water flow in a way to have the competiton course runnning for the upcoming days while saving water and handling the relatively small amount of available water.
