Andrej Jelenc
About
Andrej Jelenc has been an ICF Board Member since 2015. In 2023, he was elected as the European Canoe Association Vice President.
A successful international athlete and coach, Jelenc has vast experience across sectors, including in teaching.
He was a team leader of the Slovenian Canoe Slalom and Canoe Sprin teams at the 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games. At the Tokyo 2020 Games, he was the team leader of the Canoe Sprint team.

Sports practised
Jelenc was a Wildwater Canoeing world champion. He represented Slovenia and won C1 gold medal at the World Championships in 1989. He also has a silver and bronze from 1993 and 1991, respectively. He has also excelled at ICF World Cups and at continental level.
