Oklahoma’s spirit of innovation will be on full display for the world to see this August when Oklahoma City hosts the 2021 ICF Canoe Sprint Super Cup, an internationally televised race featuring Olympic competitors and medalists from the Tokyo Olympic Games – including Team USA’s Nevin Harrison who earned the United States’ first canoe sprint gold in 33 years at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Bring folding chairs and blankets to watch from the banks or get on the water in your kayak to be part of our Floating Grandstand.
The ICF Canoe Sprint SuperCup is the centerpiece of a multi-day race event, the Oklahoma Paddlesport Festival, that will include a World Party, the American Canoe Association (ACA) Slalom and Sprint National Championships, a new ICF Extreme Slalom event, the ICF Super Cup Portage race, and the USO Experience, a three-day expo event expected to attract thousands of military and their families from across the region.
