BIOGRAPHY
A C1 silver in Rio 2016 was how Benus marked his Olympic debut. In Tokyo, he had to settle for sixth but made up for it four years later, winning bronze in the men's C1 at Paris 2024. At the world and European level, there are few athletes who can boast a CV like that of the Slovakian. He has nine world titles in the C1 team and eight European gold medals in the same event.
