Stensils competed in the K1 200 at Rio 2016, finishing seventh and fifth in the same event and the K1 500 at Tokyo 2020. At the 2018 World Championships, she won bronze in the K1 200. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from University of Gavle.

WHEN/WHERE DID YOU START CANOEING/ KAYAKING?
I started paddling in Vaxholm when I was about 6 years old. Both of my elder sisters started and I couldn't wait to be as cool as them and their friends.
HOBBIES
I love to be active and try new stuff. Drinking coffee, hanging with friend and family and spending time outside, preferably close to the water.

MEMORABLE SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT
My 7th place at the Rio Olympics is probably one of my most memorable achievements so far. I had an amazing experience both on and outside the course. I didn't expect to make the final even though I really wanted to so in that way it was very memorable and a proud moment.

My two elder sisters who got me into this sport and who always got to do things before me that I at that time dreams about doing one day, Ex, winning National championships, Going to Nordic championships, racing junior Europeans and so on.

Anders Gustafsson has always been my idol and also Lisa Carrington cause they are both very inspirational, nice people and great athletes.

I try not to be very superstitious and I try to not make every preparation for a race exactly the same.

I will to find my own way to the top, and not give up till i have beaten the very best
FAVOURITE PADDLING COURSE
My favourite place to paddle is around my summerhouse in the Archipelago of Stockholm. It is very beautiful around the islands and paddling there always reminds me of why I love kayaking and this sport.

I want to see how fast I can paddle my boat and I dream about winning a gold medal at the world championships and the Olympics
