Accommodation
Three hotels are recommended by the organising committee: Inter-Continental Qingdao, Zhonghang Xiangtong Yacht Club Hotel and Marine Holiday Inn. These are the only three hotels which will be serviced by the airport transport and daily transfers to and from the competition venue. For more information check page 14 of bulletin 1. Airport transfer
Airport transfers from Qingdao Liuting International Airport to one of the three registered accommodation venues can be booked during online registration process. If flight details are not known at this time, they can be added later, until 14 October.
Daily transport
Daily transport will be provided from the three registered accommodation venues. Specific schedules will be available closer to the competition when the number of people staying at each accommodation venue is known.
Visas
Athletes who require a visa to travel to China should plan well in advance.
Tourist visas are suitable for participation in the competition.
If an athlete requires an invitation letter, they must submit the required information, plus a copy of their passport, in the online entry form. The Chinese Canoe Association cannot issue an invitation letter without the passport copy.
Invitation letters can only be issued to competing athletes. Any other attending spectators such as family or friends should apply for their own tourist visa or apply through a travel agent.

Boards
- Hard boards – SUP mono hull maximum 14 foot (4.26m) long;
- Inflatable boards – SUP mono hull maximum 12’6”.
Board manufacturers will have limited number of hard and inflatable boards for rent. Shapes and sizes will differ based on provided boards from manufacturers. Current availability includes:

| Information | This board design is intended for ocean,the bottom is a planning hull and is able to paddle in all conditions with a good stability. The planning hull rides on top of the water rather than parting it. | The hero is the “all-round” king, it has good acceleration and high speed in flat water and choppy water. And the board is more maneuverable in the surf. The thick slicing nose redeces pitching and cuts through the water for top-end displacement speed. |
ICF will organise a container to transport boards from Europe to Qingdao. The boards will be collected at the ICF SUP World Cup in Scharbeutz/Germany. Transport price per board to Qingdao and back to Germany will be – 350€. Please book a container transport for your board before 01.08.19 to kontakt@prowave.de. If you want to ship boards from USA, please send a request to kontakt@prowave.de If they receive reasonable number of requests for sea transport from USA, they will organise a container with similar conditions.
