Plastex
Plastex is a producer of high-performance sprint kayaks, canoes, surfskis, dragon boats, parakayaks and paddles for racing.
The Polish company was founded in 1990 by Richard Seruga, a former Canoe Slalom paddler who represented Poland at the Munich 1972 Olympic Games and won several medals at the World Championships.
Since 1998, Plastex has cooperated with the Institute of Hydrodynamics to deliver the highest quality products based on the application of computational fluid dynamics and practical tank tests.
Plastex has been the sole supplier of boats for major competitions including the Sydney 2000 Olympics and delivered boats to national teams and the organisers of other Games.
