The Hungarian Canoe Federation has named a formidable 16-member Canoe Sprint team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Three of them are reigning Olympic champions starting with the sensational Tamara Csipes.
She won two K4 500 gold medals at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. The nine-time world champion also added a K1 500 silver in the Japanese capital three years ago.
She will be contesting in the K1, K2 and K4 500 at Paris 2024, which will be her third Olympic Games.
Two-time world champion Dora Alida Gazso will also race the K1 500. A European champion in 2021, she will also try her luck in the K2 and K4 500.
The K2 500 will feature Noemi Pupp and Sára Fojt as well. The duo are world and European medallists in the junior and U23 competitions. They will also race the K4 500 in Paris.

Kincso Takacs is a strong contender for the C1 200 in what would be her second Olympic appearance. The 30-year-old has proved her mettle at world and European level with her medal tally crossing reaching double digits.
Agnes Anna Kiss, who is only 19, will be the one to watch out for in the C2 500 as she teams up with four-time world bronze medallist Bianka Nagy. Kiss will be heading to Paris in good form, having won a gold and bronze at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup in Szeged in May.
Among men, the 27-year-old Balint Kopasz will be heading to his third Olympic Games. He is the reigning K1 1000 champion, and the four-time world champion is one of the best sprint athletes out there.

He will have Adam Varga for company in the K1 1000, having finished behind him at Tokyo 2020. The duo will also participate in the K2 500.
The other K2 500 athletes are Sandor Totka and Bence Nadas. Totka was the K1 200 champion at Tokyo 2020 and has six world medals, including two gold. He is also a Youth Olympic champion from 2010.
Nadas is also a two-time world champion and will target an Olympic podium spot in his second outing at the Games.
Nadas and Totka will also race the K4 500 with Kolos Attila Csizmadia and Istvan Kuli. Kolos is a three-time world medallist and will participate in his second Olympic Games while Kuli is a two-time world medallist.
A two-time world champion in the C1 5000, Balazs Adolf is competing in the C1 1000 in Paris and C2 500. The C1 1000 will also see 2022 European bronze medallist Daniel Fejes try his luck.
Joining Adolf in the C2 500 is Jonatan Daniel Hajdu, who is a four-time world medallist.
